At Offa’s Dyke Reflexology, my aim is to support balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing through the complementary therapies of clinical reflexology and Indian head massage.
I am a Level 5 qualified Clinical Reflexologist, having trained with the Gaia School of Natural Health, and I am a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). I have also completed a Level 3 qualification in Indian Head Massage. My AoR membership ensures that my practice meets recognised professional standards, is fully insured, and remains up to date through regular continued professional development (CPD).
Alongside my complementary therapy practice, I have over 25 years’ experience as a registered mental health social worker, and I continue to practise in this role. I work collaboratively with health professionals to support individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. This dual professional background enables me to integrate a person-centred, trauma-aware, and reflective approach into my reflexology practice.
My experience in mental health has developed a strong understanding of the mind–body connection, including emerging knowledge around the gut–brain axis and the role that relaxation, nervous system regulation, and stress reduction can play in supporting overall wellbeing. This understanding informs how I work as a clinical reflexologist, allowing me to tailor treatments thoughtfully and sensitively to each individual, while remaining within the scope of complementary therapy practice.

Having worked in the public sector for over 40 years, I am deeply committed to equality, inclusion, and accessibility. Offa’s Dyke Reflexology is a welcoming and inclusive practice, open to people of all ages, ethnicities, abilities, sexes, gender identities, and LGBTQ+ communities.
My practice is located in the peaceful surroundings of the Offa’s Dyke Path in Shropshire, offering a calm and supportive environment where clients can take time for rest, relaxation, and self-care.
My work is grounded in supporting relaxation, balance, and well-being through the complementary therapies of clinical reflexology and Indian head massage. I offer a calm, person-centered space where clients can step away from the pressures of everyday life and focus on rest, self-care, and nervous system regulation.
Reflexology involves the application of gentle, focused pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, which correspond with different areas of the body. Treatments are designed to encourage deep relaxation, support the body’s natural balance, and promote a sense of physical and emotional ease. My approach is informed by an understanding of the mind–body connection, including how stress can affect overall well-being.
Indian head massage focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back. It is particularly effective in releasing tension, calming the nervous system, and supporting mental clarity and relaxation. This treatment can be especially beneficial for those experiencing stress, mental fatigue, or difficulty switching off.
Alongside my formal training and clinical experience, I have a growing interest in energy work and the meridian system, which originates from traditional Eastern healing practices. This perspective recognizes the body as an interconnected system in which energy flows through specific pathways.
While remaining firmly within the scope of complementary therapy practice, this awareness informs the way I work—encouraging attentiveness, balance, and a holistic view of each client’s experience.
Drawing on my background as a mental health practitioner, I offer treatments that are trauma-aware, compassionate, and tailored to the individual. Clients often report feeling calmer, more grounded, and more connected to their bodies following sessions. My aim is not to treat or diagnose conditions, but to support well-being by creating the right conditions for rest, balance, and self-regulation.
A few of the more common conditions that can be supported through Reflexology. It is usually safe to have Reflexology alongside conventional medicine, but if you are currently having any medical treatment please speak to your GP before booking an appointment.
All treatments are for 1 hour other than the initial consultation that will take a little longer , and are complementary therapies intended to support relaxation, balance, and well-being. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
